United Arab Emirates receive Portuguese delegation at Dubai WoodShow 2023

The Portuguese participation in this fair, which is considered the main destination for wood specialists in Dubai, is organized by AIMMP – Associação das Indústrias de Madeira e Mobiliário de Portugal

From the 7th to the 9th of March, a group of fourteen Portuguese companies from the Wood and Furniture sector will participate in the Dubai WoodShow 2023 – the main destination for Wood specialists in Dubai.

The Portuguese representation will be located in Hall 6, Stand A-02, at the Dubai World Trade Center, in an initiative organized by AIMMP – Associação das Indústrias de Madeira e Mobiliário de Portugal. As part of the Exhibition programme, companies will also participate in the conference program – Wood (Design) Talks – having the opportunity to present their products in that important market.

The Dubai WoodShow 2023 is an unparalleled competitive advantage for these Portuguese companies to open horizons in this market, having the opportunity to become global suppliers in the sector. This fair is known for presenting the most emerging trends and proven quality to the main players in the wood sector, with Portugal present here demonstrating its vast experience combined with the high level of dynamism and creativity in the wood and furniture sector.

This initiative is organized within the scope of Inter Wood & Furniture, an internationalization project managed by AIMMP for the Wood and Furniture sector, which supports Portuguese companies interested in developing internationalization strategies for new growth markets. Over the years, this program has already supported more than 400 companies, through 140 actions, in around 50 markets, with incentives of up to 50%, having contributed to the growth of exports in the sector which, this year, reached the historical maximum of more than 3 billion euros.
