Villã: Country Houses
It is located in Baltar, 20 minutes from Porto, and is born from the recovery of empty village houses. This space invites you to discover the rural side of life, right in the heart of the Rota do Românico. Its space, where a hotel of modern architecture coexists with restored rural houses, is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday city life.
The space also includes two new buildings, built from scratch, on a wooden facade that contrasts with granite. Inside there are 17 rooms, in a concept designed only for adults. Outside the rooms you swim in the outdoor and indoor pools with heated water.
Next to the accommodation is the Chapel of Senhora da Piedade da Quintã, one of the 58 monuments, distributed across 12 municipalities of the Sousa, Douro and Tâmega valleys that make up the Rota do Românico. Without leaving the municipality of Paredes, you can also visit the Torre dos Alcoforados, the Monastery of São Pedro de Cête, the Torre do Castelo de Aguiar de Sousa and the Hermitage of Nossa Senhora do Vale.
