The FIMMA Committee prepares the next edition of FIMMA – Maderalia 2022

The machinery and technology sector will claim, at the March meeting, its key role in the good moment that the reform and construction sector is experiencing.

 

Valencia, December 9, 2021 – The Organizing Committee of the FIMMA Machinery and Technology Contest, one of the component segments of the FIMMA-Maderalia biennial, held a working meeting at the Valencia Fair last Thursday, December 2nd, to advance in the preparation of the next edition of FIMMA – Maderalia, which will take place from March 29th to April 1st at Feria Valencia.

This is the first face-to-face meeting of the Organizing Committee that has been held since 2020, as the pandemic forced this type of meeting to be held digitally. Today’s Commission advanced some of the main axes on which the next FIMMA – Maderalia event will be articulated, in which the good moment for the sector will be confirmed. The FIMMA Committee is chaired by Santiago Riera (Rierge) and comprises Roberto de Cecilio (Comercial Cecilio), Canzio Constanti (Biesse Ibérica), Marc Farrarons (Preziss Tools), Ricardo García (Bar-Gar), José Luis Giménez (Barberán) , Throsten Linke and Carles Tort (Homag Spain Maquinaria) and José Sáez (Disber Machinery).

Digitization, re-industrialization and training, the keys to FIMMA – Maderalia 2022

The businessmen participating in the Commission confirmed the good moment of the sector and the need for events such as FIMMA – Maderalia, not only for the main sector actors to meet in person but for the sector to advance in those aspects that the sector is currently doing. more interested, such as its digitization, the proposal of innovations, the need to deepen the training and search for talent for companies in the sector, the reindustrialization process in which the industry is immersed after the global crisis, or the strong environmental and sustainable commitment of the sector.

“Fairs are necessary and there is a desire to go to FIMMA – Maderalia”, said Thorsten Linke, who explained the problems that companies currently face in incorporating qualified personnel. In addition, FIMMA – Maderalia, as confirmed by the Committee, will bet on transmitting to society the importance that the “key” sector had during the pandemic, as it has been the fundamental link in the production chain that has allowed the supply of domestic equipment to homes. and reforms that exploded, motivated by the pandemic itself. “We have been a fundamental part of the solutions for the happiness of the homes”, emphasized Marc Farrarons.
