Still without understanding what Design was, but with a tremendous passion for the arts, Mónica Silva graduated in Industrial Design from IPCA in Barcelos.

Her passion expanded into Interior and Furniture Design, leading her to the position of Product Designer at Muranti, a brand with significant national and international projects.

Mónica has been with Muranti for 5 years, where she is responsible for creating the brand’s collections. As the project lead, she mentioned that the most challenging and exciting project she had was leading the creation of a completely pink closet for the star of the Glitter Show, Carina Caldeira.

For the designer, the challenge was to create a multifunctional space with various Instagram-worthy scenarios that reflected Carina’s essence and were perfect for the program’s recordings.

Only in 2023 did she present her projects at the major Middle Eastern fairs, Hotel Show Dubai and Index Saudi Arabia. For the designer, the important thing is to create pieces that tell a story, and she emphasizes how gratifying it is to see the reaction of people from different cultures to her creations. She recently participated in Decorex London (October 2023), where she presented the “The Timeless Era” collection. This last presentation marked an exciting turning point in her career and notably redefined the brand’s identity, earning well-deserved recognition and an increasingly broad and sophisticated audience.
