José Filipe Tavares is the founder of Arduo Studio and the furniture and lighting brand MORNO. He was born in Alcácer do Sal in 1986, graduated in Product Design from the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, and it was in Porto that he developed his work. Throughout his professional career, he has collaborated with several leading Portuguese brands, designing and developing multiple furniture collections as a designer and creative director.

His deep interest in interiors and architecture led him into the world of 3D visualization as a natural progression of his work. He sees design as a dialogue between space and object, a play of aesthetics that shapes environments and objects into a coherent narrative.

Today, established between Arduo Studio and Morno, he brings concepts to life through immersive images that help architects and brands connect more closely with their own ideas, and shares his vision of contemporary design through functional and balanced pieces created for spaces that value subtlety and intention.
