André Teoman

Looking at emotion as one of his priorities, his pieces have a strong emotional connection with a concept that makes the user look twice and contemplate the subject.

Born in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, in 1989, he has always been torn between the city of his birth and Istanbul. This cultural difference has always helped him to have a different perspective on habits and tastes that set him apart as a young man. The work created in the studio has already begun to be noticed and awarded. The international press has featured his work, and he has also received two Adesign awards. The invitation to be part of the Portuguese Biennial EXD 15 in the exhibition “DESEJO TENSÃO TRANSIÇÃO” with the Kaleidoscope table was another significant milestone in 2015, followed by the exhibition “Welcome to the Club” in early 2016 at the SHOWME Art & Design Gallery and participation in the XXI Triennale di Milano as part of the Portuguese representation.
