The contract business – integral equipment for hotels and restaurants – was the star of the second day of Feria Hábitat València and Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar with thousands of national and international buyers such as the architectural studio Gensler, the highest turnover studio in the United States and considered one of the ten most influential specifiers in the world.
Spectacular second day of Hábitat València and Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar at Feria Valencia. Thousands of national and international professional buyers filled the aisles of the more than 96,000 square metres covering both shows today, consolidating the optimistic expectations of an event that until Friday will bring together 881 international companies and brands from around twenty countries with the most innovative proposals in furniture, decoration, lighting and home textiles and upholstery.
The event was attended by the regional employers’ association Hosbec, whose vice-president and director of SH Hoteles, Javier Vallés, took part in a round table moderated by the consultant and director of Hosbec Valencia, Alberto Galloso, with the participation of Raúl Téllez from NH Hoteles, Marian Vázquez from Melia Hotels International and Ainhoa Hernández from RH Hoteles. Other speakers included Fernando Oiza from Bewoodville; José Martí from ERRE Arquitetura; Gorka Álvarez from Ruiz Larrea; Antonio Peláez from Yugenarchitecs and Sergio Baragaño from Room 2030. They all addressed how sustainability is becoming a competitive factor to guarantee success in the construction sector, as well as promoting variables such as craftsmanship and the “Spain brand”. In fact, they have opted to build “healthier and healthier spaces for those who inhabit them” with “more temporary and flexible accommodation models” in which the “temporary and flexible” nature of these is present.
The conference was also attended by the Minister for Innovation, Industry, Tourism and Trade of the Valencian Community, Nuria Montes, who expressed her support for this initiative and the business opportunity for the Valencian sector.
