Intergift presents the trends for next season

The International Gift and Decoration Show will be held together with Bisutex, Madridjoya and MOMAD, as part of the lifestyle week at IFEMA MADRID (September 13-17), presenting the novelties that will decorate the shop windows across Spain this autumn-winter.

Designers, decorators, retailers and opinion leaders in decorating trends will once again focus their attention on the largest trade event in Spain and Portugal, Intergift, the International Gift and Decoration Show, which will be held from September 13-17, 2023 in pavilions 3, 5 and 7 at IFEMA MADRID.

Organized by IFEMA MADRID, the fair will be structured around two major thematic areas: Home&Deco, which will bring together the latest trends and novelties in furniture and decoration, and Gift, which includes a wide range of original gift ideas, products for the back-to-school season, as well as different technological gadgets, souvenirs, and toys.

Decoration trends: simplicity in timeless spaces

Intergift will be, for the entire professional sector, a unique place to discover the new trends in interior design. For the coming season, the novelties will focus on natural elements, earthy colors, and the reuse of materials to make the most of their second life.

In it, textures will be mixed to create cozy environments that generate functional and comfortable atmospheres. All this, together with sustainability in all the products that make up the decorative elements and the use of all resources to make them long-lasting and environmentally friendly.

The practicality of the spaces will also be fundamental. Extend the durability of all materials and their reuse to create environments where the modern plays with the old in the different surfaces. With the entry of technology into the home, domotic elements meet classic and handcrafted ones.

As for next season’s hues, earth tones will continue to be a trend. These, along with the coexistence of nature and its color palette, accompany the relaxed and warm tones, generating environments that enhance creativity and generate vitality, bringing an extra to each decorative space. Besides seeing how the industrial continues to play with the traditional, taking advantage of the second life of many materials to renew many environments.

Gift trends: technology is already a must-have

The other area of the fair, Gift, will bring together all the new gadgets, gifts and items that will be on the market next season. The keys will be the personalization of gifts and items. The end consumer is looking for products that reflect their style and personality, with products customized with 3D printing. Likewise, wearable technology, with technological gadgets and devices, continues to be a trend in 2023. From smartwatches to advanced wireless headphones, all with versatility and functionality. In the realm of gifts, sustainability is not far behind either.

Eco-friendly options made from recycled or biodegradable materials are in demand. Finally, minimalism continues to set the style tone in 2023, and gifts with clean lines, neutral colors, and quality materials are becoming increasingly popular, always striving for an elegant and timeless aesthetic.

Intergift (September 13-17) will coincide with Bisutex (September 14-17), Madridjoya (September 14-17) and MOMAD (September 15-17), making it the largest lifestyle event in southern Europe.
