II Interfer Universities Awards: Back for another award ceremony
The event took place at the Inspira Liberdade Boutique Hotel in Lisbon, on Wednesday, 5th of june.
Until May 8, Interfer held a Furniture Innovation contest for university students enrolled in Design and Architecture courses, in which candidates had to send A2 illustrative furniture panels for a 50 m² two-bedroom apartment.
The awards ceremony for the II Interfer Universities Prize, awarded through the competition, took place on Wednesday, June 5, at the Inspira Liberdade Boutique Hotel, and featured several talented students on the podium, as well as a performance by Teresa Macedo and André Santos.
Students Anastácia Moreira, Gonçalo Martins and Sara Cherry, from the University of Lisbon, took the 1st place and took home €1,750. Also from the University of Lisbon, students Elida Persson, Inês Baldeiras and Teresa Silva won the 2nd prize with a check of 1,000€. Third place and a prize of €500 went to Silvia Tabarelli de Abreu, from the University of Évora.
The event celebrated academic excellence and recognized high-quality work that delighted the public and the event’s partners. Alvic was responsible for organizing the II Interfer Universities Award and the judges, Martim Cunha Ferreira and Tiago Cristóvão, were responsible for awarding points.
