Chamber of Commerce and Industry honors CIN with Internationalization of the Year Award

The Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) has awarded CIN, the Iberian leader in the paints and varnishes paints and varnishes market, for its internationalization process, making operations and growth abroad, highlighting the brand’s achievements at a global level.

In 2023, CIN was ranked 10th among European manufacturers by the European Coatings Journal and 36th worldwide by the Coatings World Top Companies Report.

João Luis Serrenho, vice-president of CIN reveals that “this award reflects the consolidation of the brand across borders, as a result of continuous investment in innovation, rigor and excellence, characteristics that have allowed CIN to position itself solidly on the international stage, recalling its centenary legacy and its experience in multiple market segments.”

João Pedro Guimarães, Secretary General of the CCIP, explains that “for this distinction
in partnership with Informa DB, objective criteria were evaluated, such as the variation in the number of export destination markets in the last fiscal year, the growth in the absolute value of turnover in the last three fiscal years and the increase in the absolute value of employees in the same period. Among all the companies analyzed, CIN stood out for the consistency of its activity in the
market and the growing importance of its operations abroad.”
