ArchiRevi 2nd Edition: Revigrés and Archi Summit announce the first 10 finalists of the ArchiRevi Challenge
Three hundred students took part in the Masterclasses at colleges across the country.
The jury has already chosen the 10 best projects from the first phase of the second edition of the ArchiRevi Challenge.
Aveiro, Cascais, Castelo Branco, Matosinhos and Vila Nova de Famalicão were some of the places in the country where the projects that responded to the Revigrés and Archi Summit challenge came from: to create a sustainable project inspired by minimal space design, through the application of Revigrés ceramic materials.
From December to April, almost three hundred architecture, design and civil engineering students attended masterclasses on the characteristics and contribution of ceramics to sustainable construction. And many submitted projects to the Challenge, applying the lessons learnt.
The proposals were diverse and varied: from commercial establishments and restaurant spaces to flats and small rooms, to which the future professionals gave new life with colour combinations, formats and very interesting aesthetic effects, alternative solutions and, in some cases, disruptive to the traditional use of ceramics.
For Victor Ribeiro, CEO of Revigrés, “the growing participation in ArchiRevi proves that brands like Revigrés can and should continue to contribute to the training of new generations of professionals in the construction sector, sensitising them to the use of more sustainable materials.”
The 10 finalists will be exhibited at the Archi Summit 2025, joining those who will be selected in the second phase of the ArchiRevi Challenge, starting in September 2024.
