How was Madeira Negra born?
Madeira Negra was born in 2009 with the objective of working customized parts and environments designed specifically for each client. That same year, our dream opened doors, opening the first store to the public of Madeira Negra, offering the most peculiar and exclusive pieces. The brand comes through the parent company Fábrica do Sofá born in 1999, dedicated to the production of sofas and upholstery in general. With the growth and demand for our products, we then feel this need and desire to create our own point of sale to the public.
How does the Madeira Negra brand take over the market?
We assume ourselves with the union of quality and sophistication and with the desire to revolutionize the furniture and interior decoration sector. For us, the fundamental thing is to combine design with functionality, always with the best choice of materials, processes and human hand because we are defenders of details and we want to work with all the components far beyond the furniture, from the temperature of the lighting, to the curtains, without ever forgetting the unique decorative elements. Thanks to our specialized and multifaceted team, whose main focus is to meet the most demanding and eclectic requests, we always deposit the maximum dedication, quality and professionalism in each piece and environment we develop.
Madeira Negra has built a path with a focus on sustained progression. What mark do you intend to leave?
Above all, we want to be an ally of all those who seek us in search of the right environment and mood for their home. Increasingly our focus and mindset are on 3D Projects, as we believe that we can extract everything good we have internally to offer that space always dreamed of by each client. We logically continue to sell furniture and decoration elements, but we want to move more and more towards a full service, providing our customers with an entire experience when it comes to renovating or creating home environments. We do a personalized and dedicated work to each person, and deep down, this is the mark we want to leave, because each person is unique and therefore deserves a unique final result, whether in a simple piece or in a complete environment.
Looking ahead… what are the stakes for the next few years?
For the next few years, we have two goals: solidification and expansion. We want to solidify the Madeira Negra brand in the national market, placing it at a level of excellence and reference in the furniture sector and at the same time continue to evolve and grow, both with the opening of new national points of sale and with new partnerships across borders because those that we have today have proven to be tremendously important to us. This bet takes, however, another significant step at the end of this year, with the opening of the new facilities of the Fábrica do Sofá/Madeira Negra group.
