València Inspires Design 2026: A global experience around the habitat
When design speaks the same language: this is how the great habitat week at Feria Valencia will unfold, with the joint celebration, from 28 September to 1 October, of Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI and the new 360 by Cevisama initiative. The multi-event gathering will bring together more than 1,200 exhibiting brands across an exhibition area of ten halls and over 110,000 m², in an event growing in all its dimensions through an unprecedented initiative in the European trade fair landscape.

It is becoming increasingly complex to understand design through isolated disciplines. Architecture dialogues with interior design; materials condition furniture; the kitchen integrates into the domestic space; textiles bring identity and comfort; ceramics transcend wall and floor coverings to become an architectural element. Contemporary projects demand a global perspective.
And within this context of change, a trade fair ceases to be merely a commercial showcase to become a reflection of how this entire industry is evolving. That is precisely what is happening with Feria Hábitat València, which this autumn will take another step in its growth to lead an unprecedented proposal in Spain: València Inspira Diseño, a major platform where all the elements involved in creating a contemporary space come together.
This approach responds to a reality that architects, interior designers, and specifiers know well. Today it is impossible to design a hotel, a residence, a restaurant, or an office without understanding the constant dialogue between furniture, lighting, textiles, kitchens, materials, coverings, or ceramics. Projects are no longer built in watertight compartments.
Built upon this global vision, València Inspira Diseño will bring together Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar, Espacio Cocina SICI, and the new 360 by Cevisama area at Feria Valencia from September 28 to October 1, consolidating one of the largest European events dedicated to design, architecture, and habitat equipment.
Four major sector trade fairs
By sector, Feria Hábitat València maintains the main weight of the event, with an extensive international range of furniture, lighting, decoration, and contract proposals across more than 90,000 m². For its part, the offerings of the veteran Textilhogar show will be distributed according to the fair’s sectorial arrangement, featuring the best home textiles, contract, upholstery, and decoration.
The biennial Espacio Cocina SICI, co-organized with the sector association AMC, returns in 2026 with the latest kitchen furniture and equipment proposals and a renewed commitment to innovation and the future of the kitchen with its ‘AMC Kitchen Lab’ area, designed by Francesc Rifé.
Also noteworthy will be the debut in this initiative of the new 360 by Cevisama area, evolving from the traditional ceramics fair toward a concept where the bathroom takes center stage, along with wall/floor coverings and surfaces focused on interior design and contract projects. More than a hundred exhibiting brands have backed this new initiative.
1,200 exhibiting brands and 110,000 m² of exhibition space
The scale of the project speaks for itself. In total, over 1,200 exhibiting companies, ten halls, and an area exceeding 110,000 square meters will turn the Valencia exhibition center into a true map of contemporary design, where leading international brands will coexist alongside manufacturers, textile publishers, kitchen companies, ceramic firms, and emerging materials.
Overall, the event grows across all parameters. Compared to the 2024 edition (the last joint gathering), there is a 17% growth in gross exhibition area and a 32% increase in the number of exhibiting brands.
Furthermore, over 3,000 national and international buyers have been invited through various trade missions supported by entities such as ICEX, Ivace + i Internacional, and Feria Valencia itself, driven by sector associations including Anieme, Fedai, Ateval – Home Textiles From Spain, Arvet, Aseban, and Fevama.
But perhaps the greatest success of this evolution lies not in the numbers…
A unique proposal to understand the complete project
As initiative coordinator Daniel Marco explains, “for an architect or interior designer, the proposal is particularly attractive. In just a single day, they can discover new furniture collections, select textiles, explore the latest kitchen proposals, examine innovations in ceramic surfaces, investigate emerging materials, and hold meetings with manufacturers from sectors that previously required visiting different trade fairs.”
It is a different way of understanding a fair: less fragmented, more transversal, and much closer to the reality of architecture and interior design studios.
In this sense, for the first time, all common areas will be conceived under a single creative direction, led by the Odosdesign studio, responsible for designing shared spaces and building a coherent visual narrative for the event as a whole. This is not merely an aesthetic intervention.
It is a way to reinforce the identity of a project that aims to be much more than the sum of several fairs.
Spaces 2026 | Inspiration as a common thread
Beyond the commercial weight of the gathering, one of the defining features of Feria Hábitat València for years has been its ability to turn the exhibition venue into a space for experimentation, reflection, and design culture. It achieves this through various exclusive spaces distributed throughout the fair.
- This year, one of the main highlights will be Hotel Hábitat (N2P6), a project conceived by Mexican architect Joaquín Homs, imagining a hotel where each room serves to explore new ways of living. Far from being a temporary installation, the space will function as a true architecture and interior design laboratory, developed alongside benchmark studios and leading companies in the sector.
Viruta LAB, José Arroyo, and Studio HC will complete the Hotel Hábitat spaces, along with proposals from Porcelanosa, Stone Designs, Abez, Made Studio, and Odosdesign through various suites that offer a tribute to Federico García Lorca, a space constructed from reflections, or a room conceived as a succession of layers of earth, nature, matter, culture, light, and cosmos.
- The tour continues at the Ágora nude (N2P6 Bis), which will once again bring together some of the most influential voices in design, architecture, and interior design to debate sustainability, innovation, well-being, and new ways of designing spaces.
- Just a few meters away, the Salón nude (N2P6 Bis) will maintain its essence intact as an essential platform for discovering emerging talent. In this edition, it will feature six emerging professionals and studios and nine schools and training centers, with international participation from Mexico. The Salón nude is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, and the Fundació del Disseny de la Comunitat Valenciana.
- València Inspira Diseño 2026 also includes an exhibition dedicated to the National Innovation and Design Awards (N2P6 Bis), a journey through some of the names that have shaped the recent history of design in Spain, championing design and innovation as strategic tools for competitiveness.
The showcase will feature pieces from Escofet, Punt Mobles, Santa & Cole, Mobles 114, Roca, Nani Marquina, Andreu World, Stua, Sellex, Royo, Figueras, Marset, Simon, Cosentino, Actiu, Point, Porcelanosa Grupo, LZF Lamps, Expormim, Ondarreta, Sancal, Kriska Decor, Viccarbe, and La Fábrica. An exhibition promoted by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.
- Among the most anticipated installations is also the exhibition proposal by Andreu World ‘Manufacturing the Future’ (Central Forum), which will once again demonstrate how an exhibition can become a manifesto on innovation, sustainability, and design culture.
- The kitchen will once again occupy a central role with the return of the biennial Espacio Cocina SICI and, especially, thanks to the AMC Kitchen Lab space (N3P3), where Francesc Rifé’s design will serve as the backdrop for an intense program of lectures and showcookings addressing the kitchen as one of the great hubs of contemporary living.
- Material innovation will arrive via Matter (N2P6 Bis), whose installation will invite visitors to touch, experiment, and understand how new materials are transforming the way spaces and objects are designed.
- Meanwhile, the Textile Trends Space 2027 (N3P1) will present, in collaboration with AITEX, the six trends that will define the design and development of home textiles in 2027. The project is part of VALHABITAT 2026, supported by the Regional Ministry of Industry, Tourism, Innovation and Commerce of the Generalitat Valenciana through IVACE+i.
- Completing the exclusive spaces of this year’s edition is a tribute to design from the Valencian Community with the ADCV exhibition (N3 Dist), highlighting the most outstanding projects by its professional members.
