Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium is finalising preparations for a special edition, which will take place from 30 September to 3 October at Feria Valencia and, once again, in conjunction with Feria Hábitat València and the entire kitchen furniture and equipment sector exhibition at Espacio Cocina SICI. A major event for the habitat macro-sector that will bring together around a thousand international companies and brands, with Textilhogar bringing together around 150 companies and brands.

One of the main objectives of the Textilhogar show will be to open up to foreign markets and, to this end, this year the fair will once again feature the International Reverse Mission coordinated by the employers’ association ATEVAL – Home Textiles From Spain and with the collaboration of IVACE + i International and ICEX to bring foreign buyers and specifiers to the fair with high purchasing power and great interest for the exhibiting companies.

For this 2024 edition, the campaign closed with the visit of more than eighty buyers and specifiers from a total of 38 countries, all of them markets with a special focus and potential for textiles ‘made in Spain’. Textilhogar 2024 will be attended by buyers from 38 countries: Algeria, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ivory Coast, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ghana, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovenia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United States, Uruguay and Vietnam.

In addition, opinion leaders from prestigious media specialising in interior design, decoration and contracting from Colombia, Italy and Lebanon will be present at Textilhogar 2024 to see first-hand what Textilhogar 2024 has to offer.

According to Leila Bachetarzi, Director of the Internationalisation Department at ATEVAL – Home Textiles Premium, a group of buyers and specifiers with ‘a very attractive profile for the exhibiting companies, since they are distributors, manufacturers of upholstered furniture or purchasing managers for large companies, as well as specifiers (architects, decorators and interior designers) from the main design studios linked to the textile sector and interested in establishing business contacts in the contract business environment’.

As Bachetarzi emphasises, opening up to international markets ‘is practically an obligation for our companies’ and, in this sense, ‘platforms like Textilhogar are a great opportunity to find new business opportunities, especially with the competition from events like Feria Hábitat València and also Espacio Cocina SICI. Together we represent a large and very attractive event for international buyers.’

The textile pavilion, a major attraction at this year’s Feria de Valencia

In addition to the strength of the grouped offer, another of the great attractions of this edition of Textilhogar will be the textile pavilion where it will be located – Pavilion 3 on floor 3 – since, along with all the commercial offer of the sector’s exhibitors, it will host two important design and avant-garde installations that are expected to attract thousands of visitors.

These include the ‘Orange Forest’ installation, designed by the Valencian creative Sigfrido Serra, which will be a complete textile experience based on Valencian tradition. The space will also be home to the AITEX trends area. The same pavilion will also host the ‘Hotel Habitat’ project, in which architect Héctor Ruiz will recreate various hotel rooms and in which a series of conferences with designers and hotel chains will also be held by the ITH Hotel Technology Institute.

A unique offer with international appeal

From 30 September to 3 October, Feria Valencia will host the joint celebration of the main furniture, lighting, decoration, home textiles and kitchen equipment shows. Feria Hábitat València, Textilhogar Home Textiles Premium and Espacio Cocina SICI are the biggest showcase of home and household furnishings in large format and with great national and international attraction. A formula for success, this year’s show will feature around 1,000 companies and brands in 96,000 square metres of exhibition space, and around 40,000 professional visitors from 70 countries are expected.
