Miela introduces new ceiling range hoods: a revolution in design and performance
Miele, synonymous with innovation and quality in premium household appliances, announces the launch of its new DAC ceiling range hoods. Designed for those seeking the perfect combination of modern aesthetics and functionality, these units are ideal for contemporary and high-performance kitchens.
Ceiling range hoods are a popular choice for open-space kitchens with a central island. This type of unit can either be a discreet element that integrates harmoniously into the environment or a statement piece designed to grab attention. Either way, it provides an effective solution for eliminating kitchen odors. Miele elevates both the aesthetic and technical levels with its new generation of ceiling hoods, produced at its ventilation technology competence center in Arnsberg, Germany.
The new generation offers an almost limitless range of design options, with hoods available in matte white and black, as well as a stainless steel version. The panels of all models can even be lacquered or laminated, allowing customers to create fully personalized designs. The appliances are 50 centimeters deep and come in widths of 90 or 120 centimeters.
Two highlights of the ceiling range hoods are the elegant design and the new mounting system, which ensures quick and easy installation—whether in new or existing kitchens. The recirculation mode option is also available, requiring no ducts, as the active charcoal filter is integrated into the hood (with plug-and-play installation). Another detail that exemplifies the typical Miele quality is the 10-layer washable grease filters, which include a top layer of stainless steel to provide long-lasting protection against discoloration. Miele uses powerful yet energy-efficient fans that meet the A+ energy efficiency class criteria and operate extremely quietly.
The ceiling hoods come equipped with Con@ctivity technology, which automatically adjusts the power level to match ongoing kitchen activities—though users can also manually adjust the power via the remote control.
The top-tier models include both warm and cool white LEDs to illuminate the cooking area, with the ability to adjust the intensity or color temperature via the Miele app. The ceiling hood can even be adapted for ambient lighting scenarios, thanks to the MyAmbientLight functionality, which uses LED strips in the frame.
