Habitat 2025 aims for success: more than 80% of space booked eight months before it starts
The very high rate of turnover and new exhibitor additions means that the fair now occupies almost all of the 95,000 m2 planned. The sectors involved applaud the incorporation of office furniture, contract equipment and industrial craftsmanship into Habitat’s offering.
Feria Hábitat València 2025 puts the spotlight on. The country’s leading event for interior and contract design has launched its commercial campaign for its next edition, to be held from 29 September to 2 October at Feria Valencia, with resounding success. So much so that, just a few weeks after the start of the space reservation period, the fair is already 80% of its planned exhibition space occupied.
This means that, once again, Hábitat will once again reach 95,000 square metres of exhibition space, or, in other words, a total occupation of the eight halls on levels 1 and 2 of Feria Valencia. A success considering that, unlike last year, this year the biennial specialising in kitchen furniture and equipment Espacio Cocina SICI will be “resting”, and Hábitat will have to occupy the N3P4 hall left by the kitchen exhibitors.
New sectors: contract, industrial crafts and office
This availability of space has allowed Hábitat to grow in sectors of interest that have been demanding a place in the showcase of the fair. This is the case of segments related to contract equipment, which are not exclusively furniture or lighting, and which will have a participation format adapted to their needs.
Similarly, furniture and office equipment will also be given specialised treatment within the Habitat offering. In fact, many of the regular exhibitors at Hábitat have already opted for office equipment in their exhibition catalogue, but now the aim is to increase the weight of exhibitors specialising in this segment and who demand an event in our country under which they can exhibit with guarantees for international markets.
Lastly, Habitat 2025 will also provide a space for a segment of particular relevance in recent times within interior design, that of industrial craftsmanship, closely linked to the new luxury or high decoration. It will be a sector that will be linked to the more avant-garde or innovative area of Hábitat and its Salón nude of emerging design and will become a focus of attraction for trends and experimentation.
360 degrees in interior design and contract equipment
According to the show’s director, Daniel Marco, “this year we want to take another step towards the global concept of Hábitat. A 360-degree experience not only in terms of interior design in its concept of equipment for the home, but also an integral 360-degree experience in terms of installation, contract and hotel equipment. To this end, we are continuing to integrate sectors and add offerings to a fair that is going to grow in international relevance”, he assures.
In this sense, Marco says that, in its next edition, Hábitat will continue to focus on the creation of a unique installation around contract equipment, following in the wake of the success of the “Hotel Hábitat” by Héctor Ruiz-Velázquez at the last edition. “The intention each year is to surprise with a unique installation that demonstrates the potential of design and habitat “made in Spain”. From all possible angles and under the prism of sustainability and reliability of our industry and our products‘, explains Marco, who points out that ’very soon we will reveal who will be the designer in charge of this installation at Feria Hábitat València 2025”.
