FIMMA + Maderalia teams up with the sector’s leading podcast, ‘Mucho más que carpintería’
The biennial will collaborate with influencer and carpenter Fermín Lorda in this new digital format that promotes innovation and talent in the wood sector. During FIMMA + Maderalia (10–13 November 2026), the fair will host the live recording of the latest episode of the podcast and a live carpentry project.

FIMMA + Maderalia continues its commitment to new digital formats. In its last edition in 2024, the Feria Valencia biennial— a benchmark in materials, technology and solutions for the furniture and wood industry—pioneered collaborations with some of the most prominent influencers in the sector. For the next edition in 2026, FIMMA + Maderalia will take part in the flagship podcast of the wood industry, Mucho más que carpintería.
This is a new format for distribution on social media, in which, in each episode, influencer and carpenter Fermín Lorda—one of the most recognized faces in the sector’s online sphere—dives into the workshops, studios and factories of carpenters, cabinetmakers, artisans and entrepreneurs who have transformed their craft with unique and revolutionary approaches.
Through Instagram, Tik Tok, Spotify or Youtube, Fermín Lorda discovers and shares the stories of those who have found innovative ways of working with wood, whether through design, the use of social media, digitalization, collaborative work or any other approach that sets them apart from the traditional carpenter. This new, fast-growing format is transforming communication in the wood, furniture and carpentry sectors, and FIMMA + Maderalia is joining it not only as a promotional action ahead of the 2026 event but also as an effort to bring the new communication channels of the sector’s definitive digitalization closer to all professionals in this industry.
Live podcast at FIMMA + Maderalia
In addition to FIMMA + Maderalia’s participation in the upcoming episodes to be released over the coming months, during the fair visitors will get a first-hand look at how this podcast is recorded live. In a participatory roundtable format, the latest episode of the podcast will be recorded live from the fair, creating a meeting point for companies, professionals and content creators specialized in design, innovation and technology applied to the sector. The space will feature several of the season’s most notable figures, many of whom are also digital leaders.
Live carpentry: innovation, technique and storytelling
This initiative will also be reinforced during the fair, as during the first two days of the event, the Mucho más que carpintería team will carry out a live carpentry project combining CNC technology with traditional handcrafted techniques. The project will be supported by all sponsors—already including SCM, Issaline, Festool, Puertas Castalla and Industrias Lotu—and will spotlight the products and solutions of the collaborating brands, integrating them into the creative and technical process.
The final result will be a unique piece installed as part of the set of the live episode, representing the fusion of creativity, design and technical precision.
This initiative strengthens FIMMA-MADERALIA’s commitment to innovation, design and collaboration within the sector, offering participating brands a high-value environment with professional visibility. The integration of the podcast and the live project positions the fair as a benchmark in creating dynamic experiences where technique meets storytelling and technology serves creativity.
In this initiative, FIMMA + Maderalia again counts on the support of the firm Doublecheck Projects, responsible for coordinating the podcast Mucho Más Que Carpintería and the agency representing Fermín Lorda as well as numerous influencers and digital professionals in construction, decoration and lifestyle.
