Fercopor strengthens its presence on Avenida da Boavista with a residential project comprising 57 luxury flats

Following its latest residential launch in Foz do Douro, property developer Fercopor is strengthening its presence in the city of Porto. Raiz is the new project on Avenida da Boavista, next to Parque da Cidade, which combines the more urban side with authentic nature in 57 luxury apartments, designed by Ventura + Partners.

Raiz is Fercopor’s latest real estate project, located on Avenida da Boavista, combining the best of both worlds: urban living and proximity to the sea. The luxury development represents an investment of €40 million and is based on a harmonious and subtle balance between a more urban character and natural elements, promoting a sophisticated and authentic lifestyle.
Located in a privileged setting, this gated community consists of three buildings – Parque, Jardim and Lago – which share common areas, such as a Wellness Studio, with a gym, massage room and a multifunctional space, as well as an aromatic garden. With T1 to T4 penthouse types, the apartments have interior areas of up to 274m² and exterior areas of up to 272m².
At Raiz, each concept promises a distinct way of living: Nature, with gardens and private pools; Core, where the generosity of the areas ranges from interiors to exteriors in balance; and Upper, the penthouses of the buildings, with exclusive rooftops and private pools.

The architectural work was carried out by Ventura + Partners, who opted for natural materials such as cork, stone and wood to bring organic forms to life in the design of fluid and open spaces, where neutral and sober tones take centre stage. “We sought to emphasise the three-dimensionality of the façades; we never have a single skin, but rather a harmony between the interior and exterior, which creates interstitial spaces with dimension. One of the most striking elements in the project’s architecture is the roof of each of the buildings, which articulates and unites the volumes, which then dialogue with each other,” emphasises Manuel Ventura, founder of the architecture firm.
“This project stems from the desire to create a concept that combines the best of architecture and modernity with a unique proximity to the sea and several green spaces in what is one of the most prestigious areas of the city. Raiz truly conveys these two aspects of Avenida da Boavista, elements that we intend to raise to a level of excellence in terms of construction, exclusivity and personalisation,” explains Mário Almeida, Director of Fercopor.
With beaches, shops, services, schools, universities and hospitals nearby, the Raiz project is valued at up to €3.8 million, continuing Fercopor’s investment and consolidation strategy in Boavista, one of the city’s most prestigious and privileged areas.
