Dyrup chooses the colour of the year 2025
Violet Faisan: The colour that reflects the balance between mystery and serenity.
PPG Dyrup has just chosen the colour of the year 2025 – Violet Faisan CH2 0514 – a shade that translates the warmth and mystery between blue and red, distinguished by its ability to create sophisticated atmospheres while promoting creativity and tranquillity.
Violet Faisan, identified by PPG Dyrup’s colour and trend experts, is a versatile shade for interiors and exteriors, traditionally associated with introspection and well-being. In convivial spaces, such as the living room, it offers a cosy and elegant atmosphere, while in more reserved environments, such as the bedroom, it enhances a calming effect. Applied as a highlight colour or in monochrome, it adds depth and refinement to environments, highlighting decorative elements.
“The presentation of the colour of the year is an opportunity for Dyrup to give its customers a new lease of life in their homes. A change of colour and the combination of new decorative accents are the first steps towards a home with a new glow. Violet Faisan, a reflection of our times, our emotions and our needs, represents the balance between creativity and serenity, providing a cosy yet sophisticated atmosphere. This versatile colour allows customers to explore infinite forms of decoration, whether in subtle combinations or as the protagonist of a space,” says Bruno Toscano, Brand Manager at PPG Dyrup.
Violet Faisan is available in PPG Dyrup’s colour tuning system – SPECTRON – awarded the Five Star Prize as the colour tuning system chosen by the Portuguese. This colour can be tuned in various types of products, such as interior paints, exterior paints, enamels and some wood products. This system gives products greater durability, resistance and opacity.
