Brico Depôt presents new 3D planning and design tool
The new software is much more than a kitchen and cupboard planner, and will improve the customer experience thanks to its convenience and ease.
Brico Depôt, a company specialising in refurbishment and DIY, has just launched a new tool for its customers to plan and design kitchens and cupboards in 3D. This new service, which focuses on the omnichannel, stands out for being an agile, versatile and powerful tool.
With this launch, the brand aims to improve its customers’ shopping experience and facilitate distance selling. The new planner is now available on the Brico Depôt website, is 100% online and does not need to be downloaded. Customers and employees will be able to take inspiration and create personalised designs from any device with internet access, without the need for prior licences. In addition, the tool will allow users to create quotes tailored to their needs and thus compare their projects, helping them to make the best decision thanks to the value for money that Brico Depôt offers.
‘With our new design and planning tool for kitchens and wardrobes, we are taking omnichannel to another level to give our customers a better shopping experience. Thanks to it, they can become the designers of their dream kitchen and create it from start to finish based on their tastes and needs,’ explains Sandra Zárate, Digital and Marketplace Director at Brico Depôt Iberia.
Intuitive, attractive and agile, this is the new planner
In a context where digital is constantly transforming the way we access information, connect with other people globally, transform business, drive innovation and generate economic development, Brico Depôt wants customers to have an immersive 3D experience when remodelling their homes. That’s why Brico Depôt’s tool stands out for being
– Intuitive: designed so that any user can easily design their projects;
– Attractive and visual: with auto-design systems and realistic renders;
– Agile: not only in its designs and budgets, but also in its updates;
– Connected: as it is integrated into the company’s website, it offers up-to-date stocks and prices;
– Measurable: it offers the possibility of obtaining information on projects, collaborators and clients;
Dassault Systèmes, with its HomeByMe solutions, is the company behind the development of this omnichannel tool.
‘We are delighted that the Brico Dépôt teams have chosen Dassault Systèmes‘ HomeByMe solutions to help them transform their customers’ experience. With HomeByMe’s kitchen and storage planners, both customers and salespeople have the same online and in-store experience, ensuring a consistent approach and a streamlined experience, from inspiration to purchase. One of Dassault Systèmes‘ missions through HomeByMe is to enable consumers and sellers to adopt cutting-edge technologies and offer real-time experiences through the digital model of their dream home,’ says Amar Bey, Vice President and Commercial Director of HomeByMe solutions at Dassault Systèmes.
Integration of more families and the marketplace in the future
Although the tool has just been launched with product families for kitchens and cupboards, the company plans to incorporate others, such as those for bathrooms, floors and walls. In addition, another objective is to include some products that complement Brico Depôt’s offer through the Marketplace, which has more than 100,000 products and more than 200 sellers signed up to the platform.
