MainGUILTY Presents “The Shape of Speed” at Silverstone
The Portuguese brand, part of the ANA VI GROUP, is bringing 22 nickel sculptures to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, inspired by the exact moment speed transforms into emotion. The brand also unveils a unique filigree edition—a piece that elevates craftsmanship and celebrates Portuguese heritage, valued at over €77,000.

This week, MainGUILTY presents “The Shape of Speed” at Silverstone, a new collection designed exclusively for the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026.
The 22 pieces will be unveiled at The Vale, Silverstone’s latest premium experience space, which will also showcase other signature pieces from the Portuguese brand.
“As the only Portuguese brand on this global stage, we assert our identity through pieces that reflect the country’s know-how and creativity, blending them with MainGUILTY’s irreverence and a constant desire to push boundaries. At Silverstone, this dialogue takes shape in an encounter between speed and emotion, making it the ideal setting for this new chapter of the brand.” — Carlos Mello, Founder and Creative Director of MainGUILTY.

THE SHAPE OF SPEED
“The Shape of Speed” explores the relationship between three distinct worlds: engineering, speed, and form. Each sculpture is hand-finished, making every single piece a unique work of art.
Reproduced in 22 identical units, this sculpture is produced using traditional artistic metal casting techniques. It features cast brass with a polished, nickel-plated finish, creating a visual effect akin to liquid metal that reinforces the sense of movement.
Inspired by the motorsport universe, “The Shape of Speed” captures the very essence of the Grand Prix—the instant speed turns into pure emotion. Each piece is valued at €17,000.
Through an irreverent creative language, the piece interprets the tension, fluidity, and energy associated with racing, standing as a material expression of the movement and intensity about to unfold at Silverstone. With this collection, MainGUILTY reinforces its vision of creating pieces that live within a space, crossing cultural and aesthetic references with a distinctive, signature approach.
Created, developed, and produced in the “Capital do Móvel” (Furniture Capital) in Paços de Ferreira, and under the creative signature of Carlos Mello, “The Shape of Speed” also translates the artisanal expertise and attention to detail that define the brand’s identity.
UNIQUE FILIGREE EDITION
MainGUILTY is also developing a one-of-a-kind piece in filigree, reinterpreting one of the most iconic expressions of Portuguese jewelry. This is an unrepeatable masterpiece that will only enter production once it takes its place on the starting grid—marking the green light for a creation of ultimate artisanal excellence.
The piece, entirely handmade by master artisans, preserves traditional techniques while engaging in a dialogue with a vision of contemporary luxury, exclusivity, and collectability. It incorporates the mastery of filigree goldsmithing and a handcrafted legacy recognized far beyond Portugal’s borders.
This unrepeatable object fuses tradition and innovation, which served as the creative driving force for Carlos Mello to create this unprecedented edition on both a national and international level.
Valued at over €77,000, “The Shape of Speed” filigree edition pays homage to Portuguese cultural heritage, elevating this technique into a new aesthetic territory where legacy and modernity coexist in perfect balance.
